ID of Wehrmacht Officers (Non General)

Post by ttvon » 11 Sep 2007 07:38

Seeing that we have at least three such requests on the first page at this moment, I believe it would be helpful to create another sticky thread for the identifcation of officers who were neither Generals nor RKT nor SS. I will merge the known threads with the same subject into this one.

Askropp, January 2021

Who are the two men?
Maybe they often go to Wolfsschanze, or they work in Wolfsschanze.

The first one

Hi,
The Heer officer(Major) in white uniform post-1157-1243553548.jpg appears many times in the newsreel called “Die Geschichte der 23 Infanterie Division”.
I am sure he belongs to 23 Infanterie Division. They are taken in 1940 or 1941.
Hope to help ID him.

Hi,
Who is the Oberst?
The pic is taken in Paris in 8 1944 when Wehrmacht in Paris surrendered.
We can see something on his epaulet between two stars.
It looks like 3 numbers. But I am not sure.
Thanks.

Hi,
Who is the officer?
But please look at his cap and eagle emblem carefully. Their colour looks like gold. Maybe he is a general.
