The battalion commanders of the 362nd Artillery Regiment on 27 May 1944 were Captain Eberle (I Battalion), Major Bundesmann (II Battalion), Captain Weikert (III Battalion), and Captain Ehlers (IV Battalion). Does anybody know the first names of these officers?

Also, by mid-August 1944, the regimental commander was Major Seifert, and at a later stage it was Lieutenant-Colonel Kuczora. What were the first names of these officers?

Kuczora was by then Major !

Probably Hellmut Bundesmann and Günter Seifert.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Returning to this query. If anyone knows Kuczora's first name, that would be fantastic.Linden Lyons wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 01:56That is interesting, Rossano. When was he was promoted to lieutenant-colonel? Would you happen to know his first name as well?
