A Colonel Wetzel was the commander of the 1059th Grenadier Regiment c. mid-August 1944. Does anyone know his first name?

Oberst Heinz Wetzel (1904-?), commander GR 1059 from 25 April to 15 October 1944.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
