Located at WBK Hildesheim he was then FK 608 (Chalons-sur-Marne) (T 77 943)

on 30.03.1942 FR WK XI z. FR OKH gleich. Kdrg St. d. Mil Bef. in Frankreich (T 77 950)

on 5.6.1942 FR OKH z FR WK XI unter seine Kdo z. St. d. Mil. Bef. Frankreich (T 77 952)

according files seems to be FK 608 up to 1.41

This doc signed by Oberstleutnant Niemann as Feldkommandant 608 was sent to Préfet of Marne on october 1941.

In the September 1936 Anschriften-Verzeichnis of Metzer Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 98, he is listed as an Oberstleutnant a.D. in Hildesheim. He is still there in the 1940 Hildesheim Adreßbuch.
