I just noticed that Lindner went by "Ingo" during his imperial years but by "Gerhard" in the Luftwaffe. Is there any Geburtsurkunde? Jake maybe?

His death-certificate (Halle/Saale 868/1942) says
"Gerhard Felix Ingo Lindner"

same with his marriage church book entry, Militärgemeinde Munster (Münster?) 1914 Nr. 4

on one of his Gräberkarteikarten, first was written Gerhard, than with a red marker added Ingo ... the other Gräberkarteikarten of him only have "Gerhard"

his Taufeintrag is not at ancestry, only the summary with "Gerhard Felix Ingo" - none of the documents defines the "Rufname"

"Fritz" is nonsense. His Rufname in the PN changed from "Ingo Gerhard Felix" to "Ingo Gerhard Felix" after 1934.
