The Arendt from IR 146 / 2.IR is Ebert-Günther. The 1938 Hamburg address book has him as a Hauptmann (E). DeZeng and Stankey have him as a Maj.z.D. in 1944-45.

I assume the promotion to Oberst was between the May 1932 rank list publication and his February 1933 death
Indeed, Baumbach was an Oberst for three days mit RDA vom 01.02.1933 (9).

The Arendt from IR 148 / 1.IR is Winfried Heinz, *08.08.1896 in Wormditt, Braunsberg. According to the Königsberg Heiratsregister, at the time of his marriage on 16.12.1929 he was an Oberleutnant a.D. in Berlin-Charlottenburg. He's in the 1940 Berlin telephone book as an Oberleutnant a.D., but not the 1941 edition.

I'm not sure why the two Arendts had RDAs almost a year apart, as they were commissioned a month apart and received Patents of the same date. Maybe Heinz had a gap in service.

Arendt, Ebert-Günther
Fahnenjunker, Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 146
11.03.1915 Fähnrich
25.04.1915 Leutnant, vorläufig ohne Patent (Patent vom 11.09.1915 erhalten)

Arendt, Heinz
Fahnenjunker, Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 148
29.03.1915 Fähnrich mit Patent vom 22.03.1915
22.05.1915 Leutnant, vorläufig ohne Patent (Patent vom 11.09.1915 erhalten)

Indeed, they are both missing in DAL 1922. Probably Heinz had the longer hiatus.

- 14.08.1940-11.02.1944 Oberst beim Stabe der Kommandantur des TÜP Mielau
- A page was missing from his Dienstlaufbahn, so I don't know when he left active duty, though the gap between then and becoming an L-Offizier couldn't be more than a few months, since he's in the May 1933 rank list.

Oberleutnant 07.06.16 BERTSCH (RR 16)
- He's not in the Ehrenliste, nor did I find him in the 1918, 1919 or May 1920 DALs, so I think he may have been a career NCO bumped to officer in 1920. Given the cavalry connection, possibly Albert Bertsch, *24.10.1882 in Lichtenau, Baden, †31.12.1960, who was a Feldwebelleutnant in Husaren-Regiment Nr. 9.

Boegel, Gustav, *27.12.1895 in Hannover. Boegel is in the 1.2.1931 FAR 46 Mitgliederverzeichnis as an OLt.a.D., "zul. in Hannover". He's in the 1940 and 1941 Berlin address books as a Hptm.a.D.

Boesenberg, Herbert, *29.11.1897. It is spelled "oe" rather than "ö" in the Ehrenrangliste and in the Zähringen Lion award rolls.
