RK ceremony Major Alfred Haase....
Hi Fakatona

Are you sure about this? The only RKT Alfred Haase I can find is an Army officer.

John
Hi John
yes He is Haase..I have a photo album with lot of photo about him..incl this ceremony photo set...
Hello Fakatona,
sorry to disagree with you colleague. Obviously that photo set does not belong in an album about Haase.
The man in the RK ceremony belongs to the Luftwaffe and is wearing the DKiG (24.09.42), thus Hptm. Siegfried Geisler, Kdr. II./Kampfgeschwader 76.
Maj. Alfred Haase belonged to the Heer, Kdr. Pi.Lehr-Btl.2 and Fhr. einer Kampfgruppe and was not a DKiG recipient.
Regards, Hugo.

Hello dear Agustin,
as I wrote in one of my posts, I'm 98% sure it's him, but I'm open for any other suggestion.

Do you mean RKT K.Auer? He served in Polizei-Div. from 1940! It's not him on that photo.

Hello Andrey,
that is indead the one I meant. According Veit Scherzer he was awarded the RK on 31.10.44 as SS-Hstuf. and Fhr. I./SS-Pol. Panzergrenadier Regiment 8. You will need strong arguments to convince me that it isn't the same man on these two photo's.
Best wishes,
Hugo.

I can confirm, that it is definitley Erwin Fischer. I know him, this photo and his signature since decades of collecting autographs and photos of LW KC-Flying personnel.
