I found this pictures in the internet about Winfrid Schmidt. KC awarding date: 18.09.1941.
I don't think both photo to show him. Wich is the "original" picture and wo is the other KC Holder?

Certainly Wiese; Südwall = "Southwall" in France (summer) 1944 and 19.Armee obvious.

Anyone know who the RKT General is ? The photo was taken after his capture in either Italy or Africa.

There appears to be a resemblance (now that's what I call hedging your bets!!) to General der Panzertruppe Hans Cramer.

I believe it is in fact Generalleutnant Fritz Freiherr von Broich with Luftwaffe Generalleutnant Carl Köchy.

Well done Gareth i do believe you are bang on with von Broich.

Does anyone have any Bio information on him and Carl Köchy, including when and where he was taken prisoner ?
