Need confirmation: is he really Pröhl?A picture postcard, measuring 87x137mm, extremely fine condition with minor creasing. It shows an Oberleutnant (Senior Lieutenant) wearing a Knight’s Cross. On the reverse he is identified as a Rittmeister. Unfortunately his name is indecipherable. The picture bears slight resemblance to Georg Pröhl (1913–2008), leader of the 2nd Company of Jäger Regiment 39 (L).

I believe it is Riefkogel. Sitting to the right of him should be Erwin Meierdress, obscured by the man with his back to the camera. See the image below.
