A picture postcard, measuring 87x137mm, extremely fine condition with minor creasing. It shows an Oberleutnant (Senior Lieutenant) wearing a Knight’s Cross. On the reverse he is identified as a Rittmeister. Unfortunately his name is indecipherable. The picture bears slight resemblance to Georg Pröhl (1913–2008), leader of the 2nd Company of Jäger Regiment 39 (L).
Need confirmation: is he really Pröhl?

It shows two officers. The one on the left is a Hauptmann, the one on the right a Generalleutnant. They both wear a Knight’s Cross, and the General wears an additional German Cross and Clasp to the Iron Cross 1st Class.

I believe it is Riefkogel. Sitting to the right of him should be Erwin Meierdress, obscured by the man with his back to the camera. See the image below.

p.718, pic. ritterkreuz-teil-1_02315291_p.jpg, is not Rosin, but Olt. d. R. Dr. jur. Ernst Emmert.
p.718, pi. T1 is indeed Lt. Erwin Prößl.
p.720, pic. ritterkreuz-teil-2_02315822_p.jpg is Maj. Reinhard Graubner.
