I have also seen the name "Meyer-Buerdorf" in several sources. But in the last Reichsheer rank list (01.05.1932) as well as the last peace Heer rank list (Stellenbesetzung 1938) he is listed as "Meyer", just blank Meyer without Buerdorf.

Hi Jurgen, I did not know that info on Meyer,
I wonder what the change was for,maybe
changed it back for family reasons,maybe someone
can provide the info.In the book I have on him IM
ZEICHEN DES SCHWERTES 131st Inf Div,he is named
as Buerdorf.
