Thanks, Mike. Looked familiar. Just never thought of Hans Jordan as the typical pictures of him are when he was older.

Cheers

Last picture is that of Oberstleutnant Karl Roßmann of the Fallschirmpanzerregiment Hermann Göring.

Hi,

Von Gaudecker Zuck was with 33 Pz Rgt ( I assume 9 Pz Div ) when he won the RK on 8th Aug 1944. Any idea why he had his dragoon tradition badge (schwedteralder) on the peak of his field cap? This badge was supposed to be worn by Reiter Rgt 6 (?), 3rd Motorcycle Abt ( 3 Pz Div ) and 3 Cav Div only. Could you still wear it after you had been transferred?

Cheers

Like Jacek wrote von Gaudecker was the commander of Pz.Gren.Rgt.33 (4.Pz.Div.) and not Pz.Rgt.33.

Special for Freiherr:
The KC3 is Wilhelm von Salisch, and the KC4 is Ulrich von Canstein.

Thanks Jose Luis!

Doppelkopf -- thanks for pointing out my dyslexia. But still what's the connection between PzGr Rgt 33/4 Pz Div and the units that were allowed to wear the eagle emblem? The picture sure looks like Gaudecker Zuck.

Cheers Freiherr

Could anyone ID this RK Träger (just awarded). Probably is from 11. SS-Frw.Pz.Gren.Div. "Nordland", because Fritz von Scholz decorated him.

Attributed as Prinz Ernst August ( von Hannover??), stab, PzGr4. But I don't have him receiving the RK.

Hi,

It may not be Heinz Harmel. I am attaching some profile shots. Also when Harmel got his RK on 31.03.1943, he was with SS PzGr Rgt 3 Deutschland. Fritz von Scholz was commander, briefly, at this time of SS Infanterie Brigade 2 (mot), before switching to Nordland.

Cheers
Freiherr
