Hi,
Von Gaudecker Zuck was with 33 Pz Rgt ( I assume 9 Pz Div ) when he won the RK on 8th Aug 1944. Any idea why he had his dragoon tradition badge (schwedteralder) on the peak of his field cap? This badge was supposed to be worn by Reiter Rgt 6 (?), 3rd Motorcycle Abt ( 3 Pz Div ) and 3 Cav Div only. Could you still wear it after you had been transferred?
Cheers
Freiherr

Hi,
It may not be Heinz Harmel. I am attaching some profile shots. Also when Harmel got his RK on 31.03.1943, he was with SS PzGr Rgt 3 Deutschland. Fritz von Scholz was commander, briefly, at this time of SS Infanterie Brigade 2 (mot), before switching to Nordland.
Cheers
