Please present us your sorces. F.-W. Krüger was not in Warschau when the insurgence under Bor-Komorowski happened !!
By the way: You mean of course: Friedrich-Wilhelm Krüger (his brother was Walter Krüger).

Full agreement with Dieter here- everything, including his face, points to Reinefarth- 100%, no doubt whatsoever. Also, F.W. Krüger, in Finland commanding "Nord" during the Warsaw Rising, would be wearing his 1939 Spange zum 1914 Eisernes Kreuz I. Klase (which Reinefarth, born 1903, did not receive).

Best,
~ Mike

Hi Fangio, I just have two suggestions:

Hermann Weiser
Georg Preuß

I lean toward the first one. I don't have any photos of them from the left profile, so its hard to tell (I may be way of).

best,
Miha

I don't think it is Weiser.

I think the man with the KC ist Gerhard Pleiß, the man left of him could be Hermann Weiser.

Thanks guys. I think Ingo is right. The man with the RK is Gerhard Pleiss. If I'm not wrong he was a tall man and he won the RK before Weiser, that's why he's without this award in this pic. Please correct if I'm wrong.

Fangio, I thought you meant that the Knight's cross holder was Weiser.

Hello Fangio!

The same photograph is in Jost W. Schneider's "Their Honor was Loyalty! - An Illustrated and Documentary History of the Knight's Cross holders of the Waffen-SS and Police 1940-1945" (2nd ed. 1993), and he identifies the RKT as Gerd Pleiss.

Regards,

Krollspell
