Thank you, all of you! You're definately right; it perfectly fits to Gildner.

Given the fact that the picture was taken after he received the Ritterkreuz but before he received the DKiG, it must have been taken between July 1941 and May 1942.

That one is almost impossible I think. From the same pictue lot. Maybe it is the same award procedure....

The photographs of StefanK. are a little bit like a Rorschach-Test! If we suggest that most pictures show General Kammhuber, we talk about nightfighters.
