The other one I thought could be HansKurt Höcker, but I don't think so.

Any ideas?
Hi,

I think Otto Lasch is in the picture.

George
Thanks George, but the guy in the photo appears to be with British Tommy’s suggesting he was captured in the West. Latch was in Königsberg and surrendered to the Russians.
Hi Porsche,
I also havn't seen any photo of Lasch, wearing glasses yet.
Maybe there is another possibility. My first thought was, that he looked to me as an SS-officer. When looking in detail at the photo i saw something that looked unusual on his visor-cap. Was the Heer symbol added later, over the SS-symbol, because there is a lighter vertical space next to it? In case he is not an Heer, but an SS-officer, I would have as a suggestion it might be Staf. Hellmuth Becker? He wanted to surrender to the americans, but was refused and surrendered then to the russians.
Regards,
Hugo.

Hi Hugo, that’s an interesting observation, thanks.
As far as I know, the photo’s are not re-touched, but I’ll investigate further.
