No, extreme left was Christinan Hansen, Kmdr X Corp. Gen with eyeglasses was Kurt Tippelskirch, Kmdr 30 Div. ArmyGr Nord, first half of 1942.

This is Walter Koch, decorated with the Knights Cross for leading one of the units that took the Belgian fortress of Eben Emael in May 1940.

Thanks, Ingo. The reason I thought it was a bomber pilot was because the full photo shows him with a bomber crew member.
