Hello, Bake,

Regarding the pic you posted located at the bottom of PP210, depicting a flak-officer receiving the KC. That is Michael Fischer.

Hope this helps.

Terry

Hello, again, Bake,

I think the general officer awarding that decoration to his General der Flakartillerie Richard Reimann. Looks like him, anyway.

Hi Terry,

Biblio Verlag has a very good pic of Michael Fischer and he had a very thin face. In any case I have pic of Fischer's RKV with him in just tunic, standling next to Haegele. Award date was 08.04.43 so there really shouldn't be that much snow.

However, I agree that it really looks like Reimann. But here if Reimann, he was not as a general. That would bring us back to before 20 Apr 41. Flak Rgt 8 was his only front line appointment. Only one RKT from FlakRgt 8, Dieter Oster... not quite him.

Cheers
Freiherr

Hello, Bake and others,

On Page 166, you posted a pic of a RK ceremony depicting two Luftwaffe officers. They are the recipient: Erwin Diekwisch and the awarding officer is General Alfred Keller.

I don't think this was ever identified, but if so, please excuse the duplication.

Take care.

Hello, Mr. Rob Romero,

On Page 163, you posted a pic listed as 467c_12.jpg which depicts a Luftwaffe standing by an automobile. The one below depicts the same person. That man is Emil Baddorek.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Hello, again, Bake,

I forgot to mention the numbering beneath that pic of Diekwisch and Keller. It is 4507_1_RK.jpg.

Hope this helps.
