Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Hello, Peter,
On Page 229, you posted two interesting photographs from the Bundesarchiv which depict General Kurt Student inspecting an enemy weapon. The Knight's Cross holder at the far right in both pix is Oberst Harry Herrmann.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
Terry

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
I am pretty sure the Major with head wound is Harald Krieg,
Won the Ritterkreuz-15/7/41-DkiG -5/6/42-EB-27/10/44
Served with GD under I believe H von Manteuffel.

Luftwaffe KC winner...
Greetings to all from Waldkraiburg, Bavaria,
I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the following winner of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves I found on eBay. He is obviously a Luftwaffe pilot... Here is the link http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0296463118
MFG,
Karl
PS: I am not in any way affiliated with the seller of the photo.

Re: Luftwaffe KC winner...
Thanks very much Ingo! I appreciate your help. I believe he flew with JG2 Richthofen, right?
Karl
PS: Any chance you recognize the other two pilots (KC winners) on the photos sold by the same seller?

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Thanks Ingo,
I did recognize Steinhoff (I was 90% sure it was him), but would never thought on the other photo it was Hrabak.
Thank you again,
Karl
