From http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com

Officer from Kampfgeschwader 53, veteran of Legion Condor...
The pic - Heinz Zöllner - was deleted. This very pic is in this thread numerous times. See the index please or search for "Zöllner" (top left thread search).
Dear AlifRafikKhan,
this measure was taken to save space and to avoid double pics. It is inevitable that a pic is and will be requested again which is in this thread already. And it is absolutely clear that you and others don't have a chance to know if it's a double request in the "??"-situation before posting.
I'm thinking about a techniques to handle this issue - that is to prevent that this thread will be loaded with the same stuff multiple times. This can't be a good thing to have 100 pages (thinking mid-term) with double material. Still no master plan for that.
But, did you ever read a few pages of this thread ? Let's say 20 or 30, or even 50 pages ? I'm sure you will find a lot of pics with ids which you otherwise would have requested. That's what I would like to suggest you. Isn't this a compromise ?

Best regards
Bernd, Mod

Bernd, thanks for your understanding. I've been active on this thread only lately, and for this image I have tried to, at least, search 'Legion Condor' on the thread. Then I've found the page similar with this http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... r#p1274055 but the picture is not the same, and I'm not quite sure the answer...

I agree that there's should exist one technique to prevent this thing to happen again...

Regards,

Alif

Thanks chris, done. Geismann was a hit by John in the past already.

Correct buy for the "could/should be" is confirmations list I hope.
Rudolf Schmidt, Kdr II./KG 26

Kurt Knappe , Uffz, Flugzeugführer i. d. 5./JG 51 "Mölders"
the backside writing reads like the ending "..elm" to me. :?

And also id'ed by chris : Friedrich Raaf in fact ; page 278 (confirmed per an autograph).

Just a supplement to a very old story. The somewhat strange pic of Joachim Müncheberg , page 30, which shows him in a surreal, near to say unfortunate look. Agreement and confirmation was found that's him.
The same version is to find also in "Der Adler" magazine, see this thread with Lw RKT : http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=98566

of note : Ofw. Hans Hormann, KG 100 is pictured in this thread.
He and probably Steffen, too, are requested here with no id, if I recall correctly. Not found them right now.

In my opinion that isnt Rudolf Schmidt, hair is different, nose isnt the same, face, chin etc are all different. I dont know who he is, but he aint Schmidt.

Just my opinion.

Hello Gentlemen,

Page 260, first pic from Gregg, my version it's not Georg Stumme, but General der Infanterie Ernst Dehner commander of LXXXII. Armeekorps as part of 15. Armee (commander Heinrich von Vietinghoff)

What do you think?

Hi, Ruslan,

It seems to me like you're right. Especially if we''ll consider that Stumme have never served under Vietinghoff.
