I would say that the unknown RKT with Hain is Kurt Bade. Please check as I am not sure.

Dear Freiherr,freiherr wrote:1943 it said.
But Die Deutsche Wochenschau seems sooo sloppy. By the way, Genmj von Ziehlberg had only one left arm in the RT awarding ceremony! The only general that comes to mind is Hube but he only had a right arm!
Cheers
Freiherr
there are more with one arm, for example Hermann Schulte-Heuthaus from PzGrenDiv "Brandenburg (also KC). Or Walter Hartmann (1 leg, 1 arm !!).
You know the fate of Heistermann von Ziehlberg ??

Thanks Oberstab and Denis,
Mystery solved. ObLt Paul Vincenz Jansky and Jäger Hans SieGLER of 49 Jg Rgt/ 28 Jg Div receiving RK's on 12.08.44. Commander was no other than Heistermann von Ziehlberg! Looked like von Ziehlberg had both arms. It was the regimental or battalion commander who didn't !
It also showed Siegler with his three PVA's. Perhaps Klemen or Daniel has access or a pic of Siegler?
Unfortunately, this was all that was available!
Oberstab, who was the the RKT next to Hermann Schulte-Heuthaus ?
Cheers
Freiherr

No, unfortunately I don't have acces to all my photos at the time being. If someone has any good stills from the film I would be grateful if they could post some of them in the Panzervernichtungsabzeichenträger thread.freiherr wrote:Perhaps Klemen or Daniel has access or a pic of Siegler?
