This pic from home.hetnet.nl shows Generalmajor Walter Grabamann and another RKT. My question is: which one is Grabmann and who's the other RKT?
from left to right : Walter Grabmann - Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer - Hans-Joachim Jabs / AHF id

Hi!

Can anyone please identify this highly decorated officer, wearing amongst others, the RK, DKiG, Romanian Order of Michael the Brave (Ordinul “Mihai Viteazul”), III Class, a shield (Krim or Kuban?), cuffband (and a duelling scar?)?

Many thanks in advance,

VJK

and the third man is the Kommodore NJG 1, Major Jabs (oakleaves).
Look at Werner Held / Holger Nauroth "Die deutsche Nachtjagd", Motorbuch Verlag Stuttgart, o.J., pages 178 & 180.

Anybody recognizes this RKT from Totenkopf? Look at his right arm, could that be a tank destruction badge?

It's Hermann Buchner and yes, he received a badge.

Many thanks Daniel.
Can't believe my bad visual memory, I've been looking a couple of pics of Buchner these days and I couldn't recognize him.

Hello guys
Glad to see you after my vacations.
I think this officer is Wilhelm Schöning. I based my assumption on the fact that we can see a sleeveband which is seemingly a "Feldherrnhalle" one (as well as cyphers on the shoulders straps).

Hello
The Uscha depicted page 41 shown shaking hand and wearing a pea pattern wrapper was identified as being Bobby Woll but I think he is closer to Johann Thaler.

Hi Denis!

I hope you had a good vacation. Many thanks for identifying Schöning - I looked at the Das Ritterkreuz site and the pic there confirms it.

VJK

Hi Fangio
Based on the information which is availbale on the pic, I would say Adolf Reeb or Otto Schneider. IMO, they are both the closest guys who look like this officer.

Denis

Hi Denis!
Based on the names you gave I had a look at http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de and I could confirm it's Ostuf Otto Schneider, look: http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de/index_sea ... wert1=5753
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards,

EDIT: forgott to say, welcome back Denis!
