The Kriegsmarine RK is Stabsobersteuermann Heinrich Petersen.

Gentlemen,

On post #8151 of the funeral of Wilhelm Bittrich in 1979,the Knight's Cross Holder on left on the coffin looks like Gerhard Konopka. His face looks similar to some of the World War II photos of him. Just a guess. I'm not really sure.

Gentlemen,

Excuse me but I think I should have said that the Knight's Cross Holder that looks like Gerhard Konopka is at the left of the photo and almost blocking the view of the flag drapped coffin.

John,you're probably talking about Alfred Hemmann, RK as Oberstleutnant on 21.8.1941.
Alfred Hermann received the RK on 24.9.1942, one and half month after his death.
