I think the general could also be General der Infanterie Hans GOLLNICK,

Corps-Cdr XXVIII AC.....
What a remarkable resemblance with von Edelsheim.

Hello Ingo,

Do u know anything more of him??
I've searched the internet but the only Hermann Eckhart I can find is a u-boat commander:

Hermann Eckhardt
Born on 15 Jun, 1916 in Aachen.
Crew 36. Kapitänleutnant (1 Mar, 1943)
Died on 11 Mar, 1943, North Atlantic.
Commands:
U-28, U-432
(uboat.net)

And I don't think that's one and the same...

In sommer 1943 he came to Russia, up to the end of the war he had a lot of tank victories. 1945 Eckhardt stopped a russian brigade with only 3 assault guns.

Hi
The first picture showing RKT from the GD division would show in my opinion Hans Sachs (in Feldgrau) then Heinz Maaz (in black wrapper).

Hi
I think Denis could be right regarding Heinz Maaz. Here's a photo to compare from a well known site:
