Hi Fangio!

It's Stefan Fröhlich - apologies for my error. The Germans use both variations.

Best regards,

VJK

Hi Ingo and Fangio,

I agree he was most likely Helmut Bode. I have seen a caption on him as unknown RKT from StuG77. I just didn't make the connection.

Now there are also these pics from EBay showing undoubtly Karl Henze getting the RK. Standing next to him was a Lt who ultimately got the RK as well. Any idea who StuG77_RKT1 was? StuG77_RKT2 was a third pilot from StuG77. Who was he?

Cheers
Freiherr

Hi guys!

Ingo and Freiherr: Helmuth Bode it is. I compared the photo with the one posted in http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de

Hello,

I think on this photo number 1 is Fedor von Bock, number 2 could be Eugen Ritter von Schobert. Can anybody confirm with me.
1 and 2 confirmed , 3 - Otto Hartmann ?? / AHF id
Who could the general with number 3 be? He looks familar to me, but I cant remember his name.

Hi VJK!

Your question to the pic Wöhler??? 22.10.2004

I'm fairly sure that the pic shows Dr.rer.,jur., BOELSEN Hans, GL, 6.3.94-24.10.60.

Best regards

Hi Vienna!

Many thanks for your perseverance - I do believe you are right!

As regards the pics above, I can confirm that pic #2 is indeed Schobert. #1 looks very much like Bock and #3 looks like Otto Hartmann, who commanded the 7. ID in Munich under Bock's Gruppenkommando 3.

Regards,

VJK
