Original paper? who knows?
As far as I can see it is original, but it does not confirm Bohlken received the Bronzenes Bandenkampfabzeichen. It only declares ha had fulfilled the required data to be awarded such a decoration.

I may be forgetting something but if Brauer, Ludl, Prasch and Kuhbandner all have the date 15th February 1945, why on earth did the Volkischer Beobachter newspaper in Berlin printed on 22nd February 1945 report to the German people the award of the badges was made personally by Himmler to them on the 21st February 1945? Have I missed something?
Matt this is the typical difference between the awarding date and the presentation date. The awarding dates, the actual date the decorations were awarded to them was 15th February (dates on documents also known in German as Verleihungsdaten). The decorations were presented to the men on 21st Febraury by Himmler.

So, it's very likely he was awarded with it...

Unless something went wrong in the burocracie it most likely was awarded some time later, but no sure proof with this document.

That was noted, but then has to be established if a document or a note or other mentioning here is for an actual awarding or for a proposal. That's what has been done with this document.

A discussion about the legality of wearing these awards was split off into a new thread: Josef "Sepp" Dorsch breaking the law with his awards?
