XXXXVII Panzer Corps - Eberbach/Lemelsen

Hello! From 15-22 October 1943, General der Panzertruppe Heinrich Eberbach was delegated with the temporary leadership of the XXXXVII Panzer Corps during the absence of General der Panzertruppe Joachim Lemelsen. Does anyone know the circumstances of this posting or where Lemselsen was at during this period? Perhaps, in Berlin for presentation of the Oakleaves he was previously awarded on 7 September 1943? Just a guess!
