BTW, look here http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/ ... hp?t=24442 and you'll find some info about Oblt Willy Kroymanns but "there is no record in any official papers that he really got the knights cross"... Don't know about Meyges at all...

Does "no official record" mean that he "recieved" his RK at the end of the war, in 1945? Why there is no official record?

As Óscar says: a mistery.
Who knows, maybe he did really won the RK but at the end of the war the records were burned or lost.

If the date (20th jan 1945) is right I don't believe nobody knows about his RK! It's almost 5 months before the end of the war. I can belive the documents were burned in April or May of 1945 when Russian sieged Berlin, but in January... Don't think so.

Do you want to know the date of bestowal of RK for another FSJs? Or you know 'em all for now?
Maybe I could help with the dates.

Yes, 5 months is a lot of time. Who knows what really happened.
I'm at work right now so I don't have my list of FJ RKTs. I'll check out tonight and maybe tomorrow I'll add some more men to the list posted here.

I can not explain why this gentleman is not listed in Walther-Peer Fellgiebel's book but is listed in Gerhard von Seemen's book. The listing is as follows:

im BA nicht nachweisbar;

I know that there must have been many distractions in the German military at the end of the war. Also, I am aware that many late awards were not recorded. But, Herr Kroymann was listed among the membership of the OdR. Could it be that his award was somehow verified thru them?

Nobody answer his last question.
There's another forum member that says that Kroymanns is not a RK winner but there is a pic posted by Óscar G. of Kroymanns where you can see his RK. It doesn't seem to be a fake or a painted RK. Here's the pic:
