Does anyone have a good photo of Oberfeldwebel Karl Koch (1920-1944) that they would be willing for me to use in a forth coming book on the Knight's Cross of the Fallschirmjäger ? You will get credit of course.

Also looking for photos of Leutnant Kurt Kunkel too.

Does anyone have any good photos of other Knights Cross Holders they would be willing to lend me. Please let me know.

Joined Reichswehr 1932.With IR8 and IR74.Transferred to FJ June 1939.Involved in capture of Masnedö Bridge,Denmark 1940.Then engaged in Holland,Norway(Narvik).Badly wounded Crete 1941.Served in Russia 1941-43.Awarded KC for his actions on the southern sector,Russian Front,late 1943.

Commanded FJR2 in 1944 and captured at Brest,September 1944.

Karl Stephan Tannert as Hauptmann.
