Another one from the same source.

Küchler awards????
Hello bake

Nice findings !!

I would say von Küchler is shown getting his GFM promotion ((without being really sure). vK was promoted GFM as of June 30, 1942.

As for the 3 Generaladmirale (Böhm, Carls and Marschall), I don't know. According to Michael Miller's website, both were retired between May and June 43. Maybe they were congratulated by AH for this special purpose.

Regards
Denis

Hi everybody!
I think this pic hasn't been posted yet. It shows Rudel being decorated by Hitler. That's all I can tell, the text is in german and I can't understand what it says. Maybe you guys can give more info.

Another question.

Pic of :

March of 1942, FHQ, Wolfsschanze
WH ceremony
From left to right :
- Gen.Major Hermann Breith (69. EL)
- Gen.Major Werner-Albrecht Freiherr von und zu Gilsa (68. EL) ?????????????? or Wessel
- Obst. Heinrich Eberbach (42. EL)
- Obst. Karl Wilhelm Specht (60. EL)
- Obstlt. Otto Hitzfeld (65. EL)

The comment on the photo said the general in the middle is
Walter Weszel or Wessel.
Did someone able to ID This general?
Is he Wessel or Gilsa?

Hello Bake!
Sorry for my great mistake! But I identified a pic in the book "Hitlers Tischgespräche im Bild". This pic shows Hitler between Portsteffen and Mikosch sitting at a table. The book says that this pic was made in Rastenburg, but I think that it was made in Felsennest. So I offer my opinion to you. I have not looked at Dennis' list. Now I have. And he says that the soldiers stand in the row: Mikosch, Portsteffen. In the pic, I have found, the persons sits (v. l. n. r.): Portsteffen, Hitler, Mikosch.

Hi Bake

In the list, we said this might be Strahammer or Bleckwenn. Since we can see the Spange zum EK1 implying this soldier was a WWI vet, he can' t be Bleckwenn (DoB : 21/10/06) because he was too young.
From my side, I think this soldier has too much hair to be Strahammer.
As for Flinzer, unfortunately, I have only one photo and this one is not enough to be really sure this is him.
Anyway, I think we have 3 soldiers unidentified yet for this ceremony (2 generals and this soldier who is maybe Flinzer)
Regards
Denis
