Hallo,

I don´t think Hermann Buchner. I know and met him and he don´t tell
me so. I wrote a biographie about him for a book, because he served
as Colonel in the new austrian army (as chief of a jagdbomber group).

But I found another. Swords holder Generalleutnant Alfred-Hermann Reinhardt got the Kubanschild.

regards,
Flo

Thanks everyone! I'm looking for a Swords holder who qualified or recieved the Panzerkampfabzeichen (100), the German Cross in Gold and the Kuban shiled. Who can it be?

Best regards/ Daniel

Hello! General der Infanterie Rudolf von Bünau (Knight’s Cross with Oakleaves, German Cross in Gold) held both the Crimea and Kuban Shields.

A member of the Johanniter Order, von Bünau was also highly decorated by Germany’s allies receiving the Romanian Order of Michael the Brave, 3rd Class and the Hungarian Order of Merit, Commander’s Cross on the War Ribbon with Swords.

Best regards,
Shawn

Hello
Another ones :
Valentin Dietz
Kurt Fimmen : both Kubanshild and Krimschild
Karl-Friedrich Künzel : : both Kubanshild and Krimschild
Gerd-Dietrich Schneider : : both Kubanshild and Krimschild

Daniel : as for your research, Bäke is the first who comes immediately to my mind as he was awarded both Schwertern and PAB "100" but he didn't receive the DKiG.

Here is a short list of the Schewerternträger from the Panzertruppen who were awarded the DKiG :

DECKER KARL
HARPE JOSEF
KÄLLNER HANS
KIRCHNER FRIEDRICH
KNOBELSDORFF (v.) OTTO
LÜTTWITZ (Frhr. v.) HEINRICH
LÜTTWITZ (Frhr. v.) SMILO
MAUSS (Dr. med.dent.) KARL
OPPELN-BRONIKOWSKI (v.) HERMANN
PEIPER JOACHIM
STRACHWITZ v. GROSS-ZAUCHE u. CAMMINETZ (Graf) HYAZINTH
WISCH THEODOR

Hope this helps
Regards
Denis

Four Romanian Kinight's Cross holders fought in the Kuban bridgehead (one was even KIA there), but I do not know exactly if they received the Kuban shield. There is a photo of brig. gen. Mociulschi in another thread, wearing a shield, but it is difficult to tell if it's the Crimean or Kuban shield.

Many thanks Denis,

the person I am looking for recieved the following (and a few other things):

German cross in Gold
Iron cross
Knight's cross
Oakleaves
Swords
Panzerkampfabzeichen (100)
Nahkapmfspange
Kriegsverdienstkreuz
Ostmedaille
Wound badge
Infantereisturmabzeichen
Allgemeine sturmabzeichen
Kuban shield

I suspect that the person didn't actually recieve all of them but atleast some of them. Some might only have been qualified for. Maybe it's an Oakleaves holder I'm looking for. Who on earth could it be? :?

Best regards/ Daniel
