OTTO GÜNSCHE born on 24 sept 1917 in Jena , joined Leibstandarte on 1 july 1934 , training at ss officer academy from 1 january 1941 to 30 april 1942 , promotion to SS-Sturmführer on 21 june 1942 .
Active service on eastern formt as commander of panzergrenadier company in leibstandarte unitl january 1943.
from 12 january until august 1943 hitler personal adjutant .
Active service again on eastern front from august 1943 to 5 february 1944.
hitler personal adjutant from 6 february 1944 till the end . promoted SS-Sturmbannführer on 21 december 1944 .
Captured by russians on 2 may 1945 and released only on 02 may 1956 , after eleven years .
Till a couple of years ago he was living in northern germany but I do not have updated informations .

FRANZ SCHÄDLE , BORN 19 NOVEMBER 1906 in Westerheim , joined ss 1 february 1930 and hitler personal bodyguard on 1 march 1932 , from 1 may 1934 on himmler's staff .promoted to rank of SS-Obersturmbannführer , on 5 january 1945 Schädle became commander of bodyguard ,. Wounded by shrapnel in the leg on 28 april 1945 , he shot himself in the bunker on 1 may 1945 even if his comrades wanted to take him with them in the planned escape.

You can find their pictures and many more details especially about GÜNSCHE role in the disposal of hitler body in the excellent book

I have to make a correction , in my previous message spelled uncorrectly SCHÄDLE , also must say that he shot himself in the Chancellery and not in the bunker proper .

It was General HANS KREBS , Army Chief of Staff , who shot himself inside the bunker and whose body was found there by the russians .

Much apreciated.

I have the JOACHIMSTHALER book - it is what piqued my interest in these individuals.

Just a precision : Hans Krebs was General and not Generaloberst.
