Generalmajor Gustav Boehringer wearing the Order of the Star commander with swords, Order of the Crown great officer with swords and ribbon from his buttonhole under the East Medal appears to be the Order of Michael the Brave...

This is a great subject. Keep it up! I have a possible holder of a high Romanian Order. Oberst Han von Koppelow,German Cross in Gold holder. His last known command was Supply Officer(Oberquartiermeister),4th Air Fleet(Luftflotte 4),September 6,1943 to April 1945.

Could you help me to identify this officer with "Order Of The Star Of Romania" (Commandor class). His rank is between major & oberst. Text on the reverse: "Mai 1943". Maybe someone has a list of persons who were awarded with Commandor Class? How many people were awarded by this class?
