Aisin, thank you for this valuable information! But although your conjectures about the rank numbers may be creative, they are incorrect nevertheless. You will have noticed that your sources give NO rank numbers, because they were not yet used. When rank numbers were finally introduced, several officers had already been retired, and those further down the list moved up. We know the correct and definite rankings of all officers who were still serving on 01.02.1922 when the first Reichsheer DAL appeared. So:

GL
01.12.1920 Haas - retired 02.08.1921

Char GL
10.02.1921 Neumann - retired 30.04.1921

GM
01.12.1920 von Roden - retired 15.06.1921
01.12.1920 Hasse (1)
01.12.1920 Freiherr von Tettau (2)
01.12.1920 von Knobelsdorff - retired 31.05.1921
01.01.1921 Waechter

Reichswehr RDA introduction

Post by askropp » 16 Jun 2017 19:48

I firmly believe now that the new Reichswehr RDA were introduced on the following two dates: on 01.02.1922 for all officers from Hauptmann to General, and on 01.07.1922 for the Leutnante and Oberleutnante. The first two Reichswehr DAL were issued on those dates, and many Karteikarten confirm this too.

PS: Which, of course, means that the RDA for officers who were retired before 01.02.1922 that can be found in the web must be wrong or at least not original. They are probably later conjectures just as the RDA for the officers promoted in the spring of 1945 are.

I'm not sure. The important line is missing. In Riebesahm's case, I see a semicolon behind the "aus", in Lehmann's case apparently not.
