Post by FlorianBerger » 14 Nov 2004, 12:14

Hallo,
I want to know much more about his career after his promotion to Generalmajor in Sept. 1942. I only found the informations, that he was commander of Feldausbildungsdivision 155 in August/Sept. 1943 and Kdt. Festungsabschnitt Steiermark in 1945.
Does anyone know more details and could post a photo ?
best regards,
Flo

Jesser occupied the role of Führer of the Ausbildungsstab W.Bfh.Nd. from 12-04-43 to 30-04-43. Unknown who followed him, von Tettau arrived at 01-09-43.

Correction. I found this dated 01-08-43. Jesser still as Leiter of the Stab. So possibly he stayed until 24-08-1943?

Hello Nectar
Ltr. Ausb.Stab : from ?31.3.43 Jesser (zgl.), from 1.7.43 v.Brodowski, from 1.9.43 v.Tettau
Source for Your data about Jesser standing in from 12.4. to 30.4.43 ? But Your first clip/doc. above reads from ?31.3.43......
(Jesser was Gen.zbV., also as Stab Jesser, from 10.3. to 24.8 or 6.9.43)
(but v.Brodowski´s and v.Tettau´s personal cards read simply "Ausb.Ltr.")
Rgds., Rossano
P.S.: rolls and frames/pages numbers for both Your clips/docs. above ???

Hi Rossano,

I believe T501-R202 & R210. I don't have the framenumber written down. One is from the KTB, the other a Fernsprecherverzeichenis.

OK thanks. Too bad, I don´t have those rolls.
Are there many Offz.Listen and Pers.Veränderungen ? Maybe in R203 - 209 too ?
Rgds.
P.S.: I´ve Bradley+his Karteikarte as "Curt",but Keilig+RKT+GKT as "Kurt".
I believe Kurt is correct. Any other official evidence ? in any case, officially without "von".

I can say that in his first Heiratseintrag from 21.12.1914 (which is the Austrian pre-1938 equivalent to a Heiratsurkunde), his name is given as "Kurt Hermann Alois Theodor Maria".
