Hi,

I want to know some biographical aspects of F. Fullriede. I have most of them but there are some errors I think:

From 04.12.1939 - 23.10.1940 he was adjutant of the 171 Division an than became Cmdr. of the I./IR 642 from 23.10.1940 till 06.07.1941. But Tessin tells that this Regiment became on 15.11.1940 II./IR 584 and never was build up again.
Fullriede was hurt in fights on 06.07.1941.. but in which unit?

Second question:

Fullriede was Cmdr. of the Fallsch. Pz.Rgt. "HG" from 08.08.1944 till 01.10.1944? I thought he was Cmdr. of the Ersatz-Bataillon "HG" but with which dates?

Thanks a lot..))

Greetings Balsi

Hallo balsi,

according Günter Wegmann (Biblio-Verlag):
06.07.1944 Kommandeur Fallschirm-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment "Hermann Göring 1"

according Franz Kurowski "Von der 'Polizeigruppe z.b.V.
E.-u.A.-Rgt. HG in Holland mit Zustimmung des HPA .... "

According to Bernd Bölscher

books.google., page 163

he took over 3.MID on 28.4.45. the 10.3.45 for assuming command over Div. z.b.V.610 must be a typo.

The HPA moved Fullriede around in 1945.

Ag P1 / Chefgruppe dated 31.03.1945

The date 10.3.1945 should read 10.4.1945 (a mit Wirkung vom date shown on one of his "Generalskartei").

A note on one of his "Generalskartei" states he was on leave until 15.04.1945

Thank you, John. This also confirms Henning von Witzleben took over 3.MID.
