unknown Pour le Merite holder identified as Siegfried Runge

Hi to all

I've picked up these pictures from the website "Belgian fortresses - Belgian forts" and since I could not get in contact with the webmaster I will post here just to solve my doubt. Who is this German officer (Pour le Merite holder?), maybe the commanding officer of the regiment that conquered the Fort of Neufchateau? (the pic was attached to the article dealing with this fort).

Is there any report about the conquest of the fort from the german side?.

Thanks in advance and regards. Tigre.

Hello JH :D; thanks for that complement. In that picture I saw Runge with his RK so I think he was awarded the EK during France 1940 (may be after seizing the fort?). Cheers. Raúl M 8-).
