Hello all

I will like to bring this old tread to your attention for maybe the last time
We (my co-writer and I) are about to finish our research on this subject about Minensuchboot M1 and KK Hans Bartels.
We have found a Publisher that will print our book and the book will be in print sometime "soon".
If any one have something that will be archivematerial and / or Photos regarding this we would be pleased to receive it.
You know the situation, when the book is on the shelves at the bookstore, people tend to say "why dont you have this and this and that in your book" and we would like to have the last Loose ends in the book too.
One thing we are missing very bad, is information about the accident in which Hans Bartels died - in Rendsburg in 1945 - this is a total Black spot in our research - we simply cannot find anything at all???
PS: As this is an old tread - I am sorry that the links in the initial tread does not work any more.

That is a most rare picture. What is the occation - "Lager Blaukoppel" is connected with the mini submarines, right?

Information about "Blaukoppel " https://historisches-marinearchiv.de/pr ... eibung.php
camp for education for different "mini-subs"
Bartels membership to the "Kleinkampfverbände" was earlier than 08-1944, first called "Marineeinsatzabteilung" in 11-1943
Bartels was connectet in the examination of captured min-sub "Welman" in 11-1943 at Bergen/Norway , model of the former "Biber".
He himself was involved in the development and trial of the "Biber" (Source Blocksdorf ).
