Hi all,the photo of K Wolff talking to a Major von Lüdecke.the SS Stdf at the rear looks very like an SS Hstuf with Adj aguilletes who appears with Max Thomas and Eastern territories representatives, I think Dr. Stahlecker is also there, but cannot find the photo maybe Dieter, Mike or Phil etc can find it

Hi Ian,

These are really exquisite pictures. Thanks for sharing them :) !

Could it be possible that the "Böhme Bosnia" pictures are "Böhme in Operationszone Adriatisches Küstenland" pictures? I mean this would certainly explain the presence of Wolff as HöSSPF Italien on them and likewise Gen.Lt. Hösslin. ABR also lists Böhme (and as you captioned one pic) as Commander in Wehrkreis XVIII (Salzburg) from 10.Dec.1943 to 24.Jun.1944. Just a thought  .

Best Regards
Marko

Hi Marko. Böhme's Diary has no entries at that time. For most of 44 until his aircraft crash in July he seems to have been in Salzburg except for a few short trips. Can't help with the other ID's unfortunately

The SS Bdf too me looks a bit like Peter Hansen, as at that time was involved with 29th Waffen Gdr Div(SS
Ital nr. 1)and at that time Wolff was HöSSPF Italy, even though the photo was taken in Bosnia,it is possible, the SS Stdf as I said before is alot like the SS Hsuf in a photo that has been shown on the Forum, but I cant find it.
Ians photos by the way are terrific.
Harmel.

Dear Harmel,
at that time Hansen was deploied at the training area Münsingen (as commander “Milizia Armata“ /SS-Ausbildungsstab Italien).
