As insight into the activities of Heinrich Freiherr von Lüttwitz during his assignment to the Sonderstab des Generalstabes des Heeres (1943-1944), the KTB of the Organisationsabteilung of OKH has an entry for 02 Oct 1943: "Um dem Vertreter des Heeres im Überleitungsstab der Luftwaffen-Felddivisionen in das Heer gegenüber dem Vertreter der Luftwaffe die gleiche Stellung zu geben, werden Generallt. Freiherr von Lüttwitz die Befugnisse eines Komm. Generals verliehen.“
So apparently he was working on the transfer of the Luftwaffen-Felddivisonen into the Heer.

The first (1906) and the last (a few weeks before his death) pic I have from Heinrich von Lüttwitz. Between are two world wars and 60 years:

According to HPA PV: Heinrich Frhr. v. Lüttwitz (FR OKH) was transferred to FR Hgr. Nord (zur Verwendung als Kommandeur für Schützen-Regiment) mit Wirkung vom 26 Jun 1941. Then, named Kommandeur, Schützen-Regiment 59 mit Wirkung vom 30 Jun 1941.
Also, I'm not sure if the following entry in the HPA PV also refers to Heinrich.

Would anyone have the exact dates of Smilo von Lüttwitz's posts at Heeresgruppenkommando 4 (IIa, I think, sometime in 1938) and then XV. Armeekorps (IIa, either from 1938 or from 1939)?

(in roll 889 even both dates are reported, one in the initial/first page and one in the last page)
Is 1.11.41 the effective promotion date ?
