looking for a report: M.I.R.S. (b), Various age groups studies, 12.8.1944

Hello,
in his 2022 book Leleu uses data from a M.I.R.S.study titled 'Various age groups studies' which used paybook information to determine the age composition of a selection of ten divisions in Normandy. While Leleu's numbers are interesting in itself I like to know what's in the original report and if it is any more detailed.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Niels

Does he give the TNA file number? I haven't looked at the Leleu bibliography closely yet. If you don't get it before then, I can try to get it at the beginning of May when I go there.

No archival reference I'm afraid.
I'm not sure which archives/collections have M.I.R.S. reports. Probably some in the U.K., U.S. and Canada.

M.I.R.S. is the Military Intelligence Research Service. There are only two documents in WO 208 that specifically indicate they were prepared by MIRS. I have one document on The Organization Todt that was prepared by MIRS in London. I am not sure if this was a British or American or combined organization, but I thought for sure there was a larger section of MIRS documents in WO 208.
