Re: German snipers and sharpshooters
Hello,
during my search for Informations of Willi Pfirmann I found out that the Sniper Georg Burdinski mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=10324&hilit=snipers&start=135
had till the End of April 1944, 246 kills.
Found it in in T313 R304 Pz.AOK3

Thanks Carius,
a question about the first photo in your entry # 183, the rifle looks like "mounted" to some very stable "whatever," could be a "Lafette" for a machinegun, probably a training photo, no idea from my side..?

A discussion on Soviet scoring may be found in the introduction of World War II Snipers: The Men, Their Guns, Their Story. Re: German snipers and sharpshooters
Post #188 shows a scoped Vz.24, a very rare item. I'm not sure that soldier is German.
He who lives by the sword, should train with it frequently.
