Hello,

the last 3 pictures ( some armor ) are made at 25th July 1934 at Ballhausplatz in the 1st district of vienna.

You see the Bundeskanzleramt, where inside chancellor Dollfuß is dying - shot by Otto Planetta from SS-Standarte 89.

It´s possible that the last picture was made one day later at 26th July.

I hope my english isn´t too bad.

Regards Niki

I can give you some more background-info also to other pictures:

Picture 4, 28 and 31 are from the socialist worker uprising in February 1934 ( "Austrian civil war" ) against the austro-fascistic Dollfuß-government.

The photos 8, 11, 22, 27, 29 and 32 show a parade on the Ringstraße in Vienna.

You can see the "Naturhistorisches Museum" on photo 11 and 22, the "Burgtor" to "Heldenplatz" on 27 and the "Parlament" on 29.

Kind regards

Do you by chance have any more info on Austrian artillery development, like the Boehler-Bofors 15 cm?
