Sturmgeschutz Abt 322

Post by Grant Stephensen » 23 Apr 2002 04:36

I need info about the Sturmgeschutz Abt 322. Also I need info about Leutnant Heinrich Kohler who was awarded the Knight's Cross while serving in this unit.

Hello Grant, for a thumbnail history of this StuG Brigade, try Jason Long's site, if you haven't already. Cheers, D :D

It's odd, "Sturmgeschutze Vor" has about four pages on StuG. Brigade 322 but doesn't mention Kohler. Yet, there is a picture of "Knight's Cross
Recipient Leutnant Heinrich Kohler" in the book's photo section. I wonder if he got the award while serving with the 322? Cheers, D :?

Ah Yes!

The EviL Commissar's suspicions prove to be correct. Lt. Heinrich Kohler was in the 210th StuG Brigade and received the Knight's Cross on April 20th, 1945. Cheers, D :D
