The rank of Oberwachtmeister is the polizei (and cavalry?) rank of Feldwebel, the equivilent rank in the UK of between sergeant and sergeant major, or in the US of staff sergeant.

No No No! Not in the rear! Not me, I'm the guy who tells those artillery and mortar guys where to point their pretty tubes. The only rear there is to me is the enemy's. I can't see the enemy from the rear. even the english term for my assignment "tells" that I'm not a "REAR"man!

-F**K, F**K, F**K! Where are those mortars shooting at?(Instructor no.1 (arty trained))
-sir should I radio for them to cease-fire?(student)
-Nah, those nades fell pretty accurately on those two howitzers.(Instructor no.2(mortar trained))
-C'mon man what are you waiting for! Use the radio!(no.1)
-remember the signal discipline, were not compromising our instructions just because some arty pieces got shot.(no.2)

-First exercise with live grenades and students giving the fire commands-

Yours truly  T.W.A.T.
