Dear Sandeep

I think the "Let's Build" posts have been extensive on some posts. I wished I had called this post 'Let's Build'. As for monumental I am not sure, yet your kind words inspire. Monumental frustration at times. ;-) Wait until you see the the final product of the thorough search of Georg Tessins Volume 17, as there will be extensive additions to this list.

What I have touched on so far had to be recently updated due to what is coming. I hope it is to yours and those still followings, liking. Please note my recent addition of the Hiterjugend. I am researching these three units. I wonder where they came from, however, it does appear they existed ;-)

Most respectfully

Mark

Hello guys!

I found interesting information in one NARA roll:
Der Festung Posen werden ab 23.1. abends aus Berlin 3 Volkssturm-Btl. im E-Transport zugeführt. Die Btl. sind eilig zusammengestellt. Weitere Einheiten folgen in den nächsten Tagen
OKH/GenStdH/OpAbt/AbtLdsBef I/1331/45 g. v. 23.1.45 – T78 R645, H 22/4, Fr.Nr.000130

Someone know: Festung Posen arrived these batallions?

Best wishes,
Ivan

Ivan

Can anyone tell if these books "Verbände und Truppen...etc by Tessin" cover the details of the actual commanders or do they detail the units only?

Thanks

Dear Marcus...

thank you for informing me.. I am honored.. I am actually in the middle of adding an extensive listing from GeorgTessins Volume 17. I was involved in the Pichelsdorf thread, as well as work commitments which has delayed the update.

I will add these units as soon as is possible.

Most respectfully

Mark
