How very intersting! I´m a new member on this forum and recently my interest for IR 90 started when I found out that my sons great great grandfather served there in the 6th Kompanie. I found his grave on the Thiarcourt-Regneville german cemetary last summer. I have Erinnerungsblätter from IR 90, in the end is a Ehrentafel if you are interested. Unfortunately my relative is not there which puzzles me. I´m afraid he was transferred after his wounds from höhe 304 or after Fort Douaumont. I´ve Heard that after Douaumont there wasn´t much more than the three Maschinengewehr-Kompanien left and that the rest of the kompanies where put togehter as one.

Hi Roger,

My father and I are military collectors with a passion for Eastern Front militaria. We recently acquired a regimental photo album that appears to have been issued to a soldier of IR 90. Contained in this album are approx. 100 photographs of IR 90 in the field. Although not grave photos, I figured they may still be of interest to you.

I'm also trying to dig up as much information on the regiment as possible. Do you know of any memoirs or regimental histories related to IR 90?

Thanks,

Troy

I saw a photo of a german killed on 1st september 1939 near Hill 179 near Chojnice. Well, he was an oberschutze of I/ IR 90, can somebody give a name to this soldier?

Have you published the pictures anywhere? It would very be interesting to see them!
