Aufklärungs-Abteilung 44 in 1944-1945?

I see the Aufklärungs-Abteilung 44 of the Division "Hoch- und Deutschmeister" whereas other Infantry Type division (Inf, VG, the odd-Grenadier) would have a Füsilier company or battalion.

How was the Aufklärungs-Abteilung 44 structured at the time of its departure in Italy and transfer to Hungary? Was it basically Füsilier Battalion mounted on Bicycles and the "Aufklärung" was honorific? Or was it truly a unit organization that had reconnaissance elements?

Thanks.

According to Lexikon der Wehrmacht .....

And according to Nafziger it was organised as a three company bicycle battalion when the division was reformed after Stalingrad.
