I am wondering if somebody can explain in the attached file the repetition of the sentences. Is it about double-checking the accuracy of the transcript? I am not aware of something similar in the diaries of allied units I have seen...
Thank you

Re: What is this?
Most likely printed on 15mm wide paper tape by T Bs/24a-32 Siemens-Halske telewriter, widely used by Wehrmacht.
It was a non-synchronized system. When rotation speed of the receiver's helix spindle did not match the scanning speed of the transmitter, text was "slanting" up or down. It can be clearly seen on third and fourth tape strip, counting from the bottom.
It printed every character twice, so at least one was fully visible.
