Hello.
I just need a little clarification: why this Heer Oberstleutnant sports a Totenkopf on his peaked cap?
My guess is that he was a Panzer officer, since the Danzig Totenkopf was a symbol for the tank crews, and by the time of this pic the SS had switched to the 2nd pattern "smiling" Totenkopf.
Confirmation?
