Führer in a corps Hauptquartier

Hello,

In a corps-level headquarters, I found reference of a "Kommandant von Hauptquartier" - I translated it by headquarters commander, position held by a Major (Ergänzung) - and of a "Führer (der) Hauptquartier" (assignment held by a Hauptmann der Reserve zV).
What was the exact task of the second position relatively to the first one?
