what means on a tank "A51" 5th Company, perhaps HQ section?

What kind of tank ? What date ? Otherwise it could mean anything.

Then it might mean that the tank was the units Adjutant's. Or it might be the unit commander's vehicle with others being B/C/etc but who knows for sure.

I think the pictures are Pz.Beob.III(note the early commander's cupola).Accordingly,these tanks belong to the artillery regiment of the division.

Now that we have seen the photograph I would agree with Алексей. It isn't a command tank but a BeobPz III of the Artillery.

Even if this were a normal gun armed tank the number 5 coming in the central position would indicate a Platoon not a Company. Normal turret numbers ran Company, Platoon, Individual Vehicle. But this isn't a normal tank so none of that matters.

This AFV used as a spotter for Artillery. And didn' armed by gun as usual AFV.
Look for it and you will find it...

The crew would be a mix of officers and other ranks, in this case they wopuld be artillerymen whose job was spotting for their battery.
